Our Scholars

Our scholars come from all over the country: Texas, New York, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Washington D.C., and other areas to study and live here in Edina, Minnesota. They go on to study, with support from scholarships, at some of the finest colleges in the country.

Currently we have 6 scholars attending Edina High School, featured below.

Dabira '27. Dabira is coming from Washington, D.C. to attend EHS. She is interested in running a business, and has learned all about becoming an entrepreneur. Dabira started her own graphic company creating tee shirts. She's interested in engineering, and also has studied sustainability and created a sustainability student led group in her prior school. Dabira plays piano, and is passionate about giving back to her local community. She's an avid reader and writer. We can't wait to see what she does here!

Dieko, '27 îs sister's with Dabira, and also hails from Washington, D.C. She is . She was part of the hip hop dance team last year and again this year. She's an avid swimmer and also plays piano. Dieko has a passion for entrepreneurship as well, working to create her own business at her prior high school launching her own jewelry making business! Dieko is interested in continuing to give back, she helped collect books for her school to support the school library. Dieko will continue studying French here at Edina, as well as get involved in dance, swimming or karate.

McKenley-Reign, '28 and is from Atlanta, Georgia but spent some of her childhood in Pennsylvania as well. She is excited to start playing her violin in the Edina Orchestra program. She's also an avid reader and writer. McKenley-Reign is looking forward to making new friends and learning about the Midwest. She's a ball of positive energy!

Christa is joining our program from Texas. We are thrilled to watch her shine here in our math and science classes! Christa is a very dedicated student, and is interested in joining some student led clubs. She excelled in track this past spring and will take part in track again next spring. She was very active in her church in her home town and is a great example of hard work to her two younger siblings. We can't wait to see what she decides to try here at EHS!

We are thrilled to welcome upcoming freshmen Grace to the program! Grace is coming from Dallas, Texas and is the oldest of 5. Grace is very active in her current school and is excited to try either soccer, volleyball or dance at Edina! Grace is very involved in her church and regularly participates in community service opportunities. She is involved in honor choir, and will join the Edina High School Choral program this coming fall. We are excited to see all that Grace does at EHS, she's going to be a huge plus to our community.

Eulonie arrived from New York and is a freshmen at EHS. She's already competed in Model UN, and has become the in house math tutor. She got to go up north and test out Minnesota's lake life, has seen the MN Orchestra, and has even watched EHS football and hockey games. We can't wait to watch her continue to try new things with her great sense of humor and wit!
