Resident Assistant Summary Job Description
Full time, live-in position as Resident Assistant at Edina A Better Chance house where high potential, economically disadvantaged female students of color from out-of-state live during the school year to attend Edina High School. A Resident Director is in charge of the house. We are looking for another adult to live in the house who is available to help, but who can also be attending school or working a full time job. Compensation is free room and board, as well as the opportunity to assist and connect with talented students from under-resourced circumstances who have come to Edina to attend high school.
Mission of A Better Chance:

About Edina A Better Chance
Edina A Better Chance (Edina ABC) is a local chapter of ABC whose mission is to provide a free, high quality college preparatory education from grades 9-12 to high potential, economically disadvantaged female students of color through the Edina public school system.
The students come from out-of-state underperforming high school districts and live in a house located in the heart of Edina with resident staff during the school year. They return to their homes for summer and winter breaks from Edina High School.
